Windows smashed at Brown Box in overnight vandalism

A popular Kanab small business was damaged overnight after multiple windows were broken in what appears to be a deliberate act of vandalism.

The owners of Brown Box reported that sometime during the night of January 5–6, rocks were thrown through several of the shop’s windows, shattering glass and causing visible damage to the storefront. The incident was discovered the following morning and shared publicly by the owners in a social media post.
Photos posted online show multiple broken panes along the front of the building. The owners described feeling “heavy-hearted” about the incident, noting that the damage appeared intentional rather than accidental. No injuries were reported.
