KANE COUNTY IS HIRING A PART TIME/ SEASONAL WEED SPRAYER $23.17 per hour/No Benefits. Up to 29 hours per week until certified. Up to 40 hours per week during spraying season, approximately May through August. Works under the supervision of the road dept. foreman. Must be 18 or older, high school grad or equivalent. Must have a valid Driver License. Driving, including ATV’s/OHV’s, is a regular part of the job. Must be willing to certify in weed spraying and the use of chemicals. Required to work outdoors. Assists in searching and identifying noxious weeds in Kane County. Operates and maintains various spraying & chemical equipment on public and private lands. Responsible for cleaning and calibrating equipment. Resumes are accepted but must accompany the Kane County Employment Application. No Exceptions.
