We are proud to share that Kane County School District has received a $500,000 grant made possible through the generous support of The Policy Project and the Utah Legislature. This funding has enabled the construction and operation of Teen Centers in our schools. Teen Centers are now open at Valley High School, Kanab High School, Kanab Middle School, and Big Water School. These dedicated spaces provide students with access to food pantries, laundry facilities, hygiene supplies, and supportive services that help meet basic needs and foster connection.

Each center was thoughtfully built within existing school spaces and transformed into welcoming environments where students can access resources and connect with community support. We recently welcomed Representative Logan Monson and representatives from The Policy Project for a visit to our Teen Centers. Their continued advocacy and partnership have been instrumental in bringing this vision to life. The Teen Centers are now fully operational. We extend our sincere thanks to The Policy Project and the Utah Legislature for investing in our students and helping us create spaces of care, dignity, and opportunity.
