KANE COUNTY, Utah — In 2025 alone, the Kane County Visitor Center welcomed 27,648 visitors! That number makes one thing clear: our facility must effectively serve a high volume of travelers while showcasing the very best of Kane County.

The building has been struggling to meet the needs of the visiting public, with inadequate space, plumbing and utility systems. It is currently being remodeled and expanded using only specifically allocated tourism tax, so that the locals won’t be burdened with the cost.
Improvements will include:
Electronic kiosk to provide information from VisitSouthernUtah.com and highlight our area during the off-hours. This will reduce staffing requirements while still encouraging more visitors to stay in Kane County and enjoy local sites, restaurants, accommodations and experiences (longer stays = bigger spends to support local business)
Modernized heating/ cooling and bathrooms for privacy, reduced utility bills and to create an even more attractive location for each year’s visitor center guests to come in, gathering information and resources before heading out for a responsible stay.
Construction is expected to be completed this year. In the meantime, the visitor services are located at the BLM visitor center near Wendy’s.
Thank you for your patience as we leverage tourism dollars to increase the likelihood that travelers will “stay and spend” locally!
