Kane County Hospital is proud to once again join with local grocery stores and community members to support the Kane County Care and Share through a recent checkout donation campaign.

During the collection period, shoppers were invited to make a donation at checkout while visiting participating local grocery stores. Through the generosity of community members, combined with a $1,200 contribution from Kane County Hospital, a total of $4,380.78 was raised for Kane County Care and Share.
These funds will help Care and Share continue providing food and other essential items to individuals and families throughout our community who are experiencing need. While a few dollars added at the grocery store checkout may seem small, the combined impact is significant and demonstrates what can happen when a community works together.
Kane County Hospital is grateful to our local grocery stores for once again helping make this effort possible. Their willingness to partner with the hospital and provide customers with a convenient opportunity to donate plays an important role in the success of these collections.
We are especially thankful to every community member who chose to contribute. Each donation, regardless of the amount, helped build the final total and will directly support our neighbors here in Kane County.
Supporting the health of our community extends beyond the care provided inside the walls of the hospital. Access to nutritious food and basic necessities plays an important role in the overall health and well-being of individuals and families, and Kane County Hospital is proud to support organizations working to meet those needs.
Thank you to everyone who donated and to our community partners for continuing to demonstrate the generosity and compassion that make Kane County such a special place. Together, $4,380.78 will now go toward helping local families when they need it most.
