Kane County 4-H is excited to celebrate another successful Junior First Lego League Robotics Seasons. In its seventh year, the program continues to thrive thanks to the dedication of volunteer coaches and the enthusiasm of young participants. This year’s theme, Submerged, challenged teams to tackle Ocean-related issues, pushing creativity and problem-solving to new depths.

Teams created innovative solutions throughout the season using LEGO elements, coding, robotics and teamwork. This year’s projects showcased their ability to collaborate, research, and think outside the box to address real-world problems.
The season concluded with a showcase event hosted by Utah Tech STEM Outreach at Utah Tech on December 7, 2024. All eight Junior teams proudly presented their projects to a panel of judges and shared their experiences.
“Our teams have done incredible work this year,” said 4-H Coordinator Angie Reidhead. “It’s inspiring to see these young minds collaborating and applying STEM skills to solve real world challenges.”
These opportunities are made possible through the support of the Utah STEM Action Center and the contributions of volunteers, parents, and local businesses.
