Fredonia High School is beaming with pride as one of its bright young minds, Carrson Cluff, secured third place at the prestigious Arizona State Science and Engineering Fair (AzSEF) held last March 27–28, 2025, at the Desert Financial Arena on the Arizona State University Tempe campus.

Carrson, a standout middle school student, competed under the Junior Division in the Plant Sciences Category with his original experiment titled, “Does the type of soil you use affect plant growth?” His investigative work and presentation impressed the panel of judges, earning him a spot among the top winners across the state.
Carrson’s journey to AzSEF began with a first place win at Fredonia High School’s Science Fair, qualifying him to join other top young scientists from Arizona’s school, homeschool, district, county, and regional fairs. AzSEF brings together outstanding students to compete for thousands of dollars in prizes and scholarships.
Carrson’s dedication to science and innovation truly reflects the spirit of excellence that Fredonia High School strives to foster in every student. His achievement not only highlights his hard work and curiosity but also sets a shining example for his fellow students.
Fredonia High School congratulates Carrson Cluff for his remarkable achievement and for bringing pride and joy to our school and town.
Carrson Cluff, you made us all proud!
