FMUSD School District Spelling Bee

The FMUSD District Spelling Bee took place on January 5, 2023, at 6 p.m., in the Fredonia Elementary School gym.

Grades third-eighth com­peted to see who would be victorious. At the end of the night, first place went to Zoey Smith (fifth grade), second place, An­bersey John (fifth grade) and third place to Akacia Black (fourth grade).

Smith will represent FES when she travels to Flagstaff, Arizona to compete at the county level. If she finishes in the top three, she will move on to State, then Nation­als. Congratulations to all three girls. We wish Smith the best of luck as she moves on.
