Jeremy Felish: A Man of Many Talents

Jeremy Felish has helped me with my IT needs for several years. I knew there was more to his life than his local business, but I had no idea the extent of just how much more there is.

  • Felish and his retiring K-9 partner Brutus.

  • Lilly, a Dutch Shepard, was recently assigned as Jeremy Felish’s new K-9 partner.

In 2009, after graduating from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Management minoring in Animal Science and Biology in 2007, Felish was offered a position as Game Warden with the Arizona Game and Fish Department. The area he managed, the Arizona Strip, included Colorado City, Littlefield and Beaver Dam.

He held that position until 2016 when he was offered and accepted a lateral change by Mohave County Sheriff’s Office as a Sheriff’s Deputy and becoming a member of their new K-9 unit. His assigned coverage area, 5500-acres on the Arizona Strip, encompassing his previous responsibilities, and he now had Brutus, a Belgian Malinois. Brutus will retire January 1, 2025, and Felish was allowed to purchase Brutus. For a total of $1, he will remain with Felish and his family, enjoying his retirement years. Earlier this month Felish met his new partner, Lilly, a Dutch Shepard. The two will continue their partnership in narcotics and criminal apprehension.

Once a month Jeremy, as a certified trainer with the National Association of Field Training Officers, travels throughout the country, training officers, in criminal justice standards and training managers and leaders. The training officers then return to their departments, instructing new hires, assuring the standards are uniform throughout the country.

Jeremy’s list of accomplishments is much greater than this, but I was curious about how he got into IT repair. Before his law enforcement career Jeremy worked at Sears in the electronics department, “I learned a lot there.” He went on to say, “After I fixed my wife’s phone the word was out. When people found out I could help them with their phones, and I outgrew the garage I opened iRepair.”

When asked what he does in his spare time, there was no hesitation, “My agency is family oriented. Basically we work my schedule around my kids’ needs. Just one of the reasons I love my job. My kids, Kendall, Braelyn and Brantley, are involved with football, wrestling, cheerleading, dance and basketball.”

iRepair is truly a community-oriented business by donating to many of our school’s functions, “All they have to do is ask.”
