“Wild Women Paint the West” announce exhibition at the historic Thunderbird Foundation

United States: Wild Women Paint the West, a collective of eight nationally and internationally acclaimed women artists based across the United States and unified by their shared reverence for the American landscape, is pleased to announce their upcoming exhibition at the historic home of American Artist Maynard Dixon and headquarters of the Thunderbird Foundation for the Arts in Utah, opening September 11, 2026.

The collective includes Suzie Baker, Cindy Baron, Shanna Kunz, Kim Lordier, Stephanie Marzella, Lori McNee, Elizabeth Robbins and Romona Youngquist. They are recognized for their excellence across contemporary American landscape, Western, wildlife, still life and figurative genres, with each artist contributing a unique voice that represents a different aspect of the American story.

Following a successful September 2025 exhibition at Illume Gallery West in Philipsburg, Montana, the Wild Women have received significant recognition and invitations from respected institutions across the country. The Thunderbird Foundation for the Arts exhibition in 2026 will be followed by a major exhibition at the Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas, in 2028, with additional invitations for 2027 currently under consideration.
