The VHS volleyball team is ready for state. After finishing their last season games with Piute (Senior Night). The scores in varsity match was 25-20, 23- 25, 23-25, 25-20, and 15-10. A close game of long rallies.

“Senior night was a lot of fun and I think our team played really well that night. It was a great win against Piute. I’m really excited to go to state. I’m sad that it will be my last games in my high school career. But I’ve enjoyed being a part of the team for four years and I love all the girls on my team.” #15 Outside Hitter Julia Hoyt.
“Senior night was so special. I’m so grateful for my teammates and my coaches and all the parents that put it together. The night started out great and it ended even better when we came out on top! I’m super excited for State and I can’t wait to get out there and leave it all on the court.” #4 Libero Lydia Cox.

The pool play tournament recently held in Richfield at the Sevier Valley Center helped the girls get a feel for how the State games will be. They won half of their games, beating the Bryce Valley Mustangs, the Wayne Badgers and the Wendover Wildcats. They are ready for the brackets to come out and to bring a trophy home!
