Pigskin Predictions 2025 finishes for the season

Well, it’s over. The season has come and gone. A total of 50 individuals played our game this year will the most coming in Weeks two and five where forty-four players turned in an entry form.

Pigskin Prediction 2025 winners (L-R): Kerry Glover, third; Gwen Corson; second; Andrea Gilberg, first; John Bacialli, third; Kelly Brown, third. Special thank you to Becca Glover for standing in for husband Kerry (you better at least get a coke with his prize money Becca!) and Kelly Brown for being with us in spirit through a little photoshop magic.

The highest number of games picked correctly came in Week Six, when Gwen, Andrea, April and Tricia all managed to guess an impressive 15 out of 16 games correct.

Weeks Three and Four proved to be the toughest for our guessers, where it only took 11 out of 16 correct guesses to finish in the money.

Weekly winners and runners-up included:

Week 1 – (1) Kelly Brown, (2) Jim Jesus. Week 2 – (1) Darren Gifford, (2) Becca Glover. Week 3 – (1) Andrea Gilberg, (2) Becca Glover. Week 4 – (1) Tricia Spendlove, (2) Jordan Willoughby. Week 5 – (1) Michael Davis, (2) Kerry Glover. Week 6 – (1) Andrea Gilberg, (2) Tricia Spendlove. Week 7 – (1) Homer Blankenship, (2) Andrea Gilberg. Week 8 – (1) Becca Glover, (2) Kerry Glover.

Our amazing sponsors shelled out some fantastic prizes and weekly winners and runners-up went home with swag from Best Friends, Brown Box, Buckskin Tavern, CC Auto Parts, Fredonia Short Stop, Garkane Energy, Glaziers Family Market, Honey’s Marketplace, Jakey Leigh’s Café, Kanab Custom Meats, Kanab Family Dental, Kane County Office of Tourism, Lumber Plus, Ramsay Service Center, Stage Stop and Wild Thyme Café. We cannot thank them enough for their generosity and willingness to keep this game going! You truly are what makes this community great.

But now down to business. Ending in a dead tie for first place over the course of eight weeks was Gwen Stoner-Corson and Andrea Gilberg. Both ladies got a total of 89 games correct on the season and it came down to a coin flip for who went home with the $300 first prize and who would be taking home the $150 second prize.

Andrea won the first-place prize twice and second place once, but Gwen failed to finish in the prizes even once this year, proving that consistency is just as good as luck!

The third-place race was just as, if not more, exciting with Kelly Brown, Kerry Glover and John Bacialli ending in a three-way tie with 86 correct games. We decided to split the $50 third place prize amongst them, sending them home with $17 a piece. (Don’t spend it all in one place fellas!)

We want to thank all our players, even though I would trade most of you if given the opportunity (seriously, do you watch the games after picking who you think would win?)

It’s been a great season and we will see you all next year!
