Call it a sweep. This week’s prizes will be going to one household ladies and gentleman (and Jim). As the only person to get 12 games correct, Becca Glover will walk away with the final prize valued at $50 from Kanab Family Dental! Husband Kerry will go home with the $25 prize from the Buckskin Tavern. I’m not sure whether to tell everyone else to step up their game, or to tell the Glover’s to get a life.
Also close to the endzone with 11 games correct this week were John Bacialli, Daniel Gilberg, David Williams and Ethan Palmer.
We missed some of our regulars this week, I thought about calling in a welfare check on John and Tracy Hiscock but then thought maybe they did each other in and I might see them in the police beat.
In the matrimonial front (in addition to our weekly Glover winners): John beat Allison, Daniel beat Andrea, Pat beat Homer, Danielle beat Kris, and Chris miraculously beat Cassie (somehow).
On the Mr/Ms Irrelevant front we had to go to the tiebreaker to see which of you stunk the most. While there were three individuals who only managed eight games correctly, it was the abysmal tiebreaker guess being 133 off the mark that sealed the deal. Congrats to you Cody Brunner! What can I say, you earned it, but Mike Davis and Jerry Hermansen did give you a run for your money.
You know who didn’t miss the mark on their tiebreaker guess was Aneisha Beal, she was our closest tiebreaker this week, being only 26 off the mark. Take notes (and maybe some online math lessons fellas).
I guess I should go easy on all of you, it was a difficult week of guessing. Not one person guessed that the Panthers would beat the Packers. (Are you done crying in your Cheese Hat yet Dennis?) And only three of you picked the Idaho State Bengals to get the win over U.C. Davis. (Atta boy Austin).
But I digress. Difficulty aside, the season is over, eight weeks have come and gone and we need to declare a winner. With over fifty people playing this season, and cold hard cash up for grabs, the prize is well deserved.
You’ll just have to tune in next week for a full breakdown of who took home the money. Until then Predictors, stay tuned.
