On April 7, 2022, Jason Thomas Hager, 39, Big Water, Utah, passed away in the Kane County Utah Jail from a suspected suicide. Hager was incarcerated on suspicion of aggravated murder in the death of Matthew Wayne Young.
Hager’s death is being investigated by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Utah State Medical Examiner’s Office.
