Summertime reading is easy - particularly at Kanab City Library, where so many adventures await you! Summer reading programs - for ALL AGES:

The adult program begins on May 28, at 6 p.m. Steven Law will take us on a poetic journey of the American West readings from GONE - Encounters of Awe, Wonder and Reverence.
On June 2, from 10 - 11:30 a.m., the children’s summer reading program “Color My World” begins. Different forms of art and cultures around the world will be explored. Come one, come all to make messy, colorful art.
On June 4, at 6 p.m., immerses you in a vivid history with a Vietnam ‘photo-log’ from 1969-1970 by David Fosse.
On June 30 and July 1, Elise Hooper - author of “Learning to See” and three other novels, in conjunction with Maynard Dixon Studio, presents a Write Your Novel Workshop. This one-and-a-half-day event happens at Kanab City Library and Maynard Dixon Studio. Details and registration ($150) at thunderbirdfoundation.com
Regularly scheduled events include: Book Club the first Wednesday of every month at 5 p.m. This month’s theme is “Color My World.” Dungeons & Dragons meets every Friday at 5:30 p.m.
Children’s Story Time is every Monday at 10 am. Musical Story Time Thursdays at 11 a.m. On Mondays, Yoga is at 6 and 7:15 p.m., and on Tuesday and Thursday at 9 a.m.

Library hours are: Monday and Friday: 10 - 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturday: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Closed Sunday.
