Jerrica Gandy at 9 a.m., on February 2, weighing in at 8.06 lbs., and measuring 19.5 inches long. That’s right, a magical birthday of 2/2/2022!

According to Jerrica, Beckett was the first and only name the couple agreed on, and Holliday is after John’s father. There’s a fourteen year gap between baby Beckett and his older sister Maddie, but we’re told the two are getting along so far.

The Gandys expressed their gratitude to the community along with their joy at having Beckett safe and sound. Jerrica shared, “My husband and I were shocked when the staff told us we had the New Years baby, but also just reminded us of the amazing place we live in with all the love and support from the community. Beckett completes our family, and we couldn’t be more blessed to have him.”

The Gandy family received many gifts and gift cards from the businesses in the community for having the New Year’s baby.
