Man fatally struck by vehicle after stopping at the scene of an accident near Duck Creek

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Sunday Novem­ber 30, a two-car accident occurred at the corner of Spring Drive and Movie Ranch Road in Duck Creek Utah. A third car stopped to assist and check on the occu­pants of the other vehicles.

While standing next to one of the vehicles, 57-year-old Richard Ross, from Las Vegas, Nevada, was struck by an additional vehicle travelling down the hill which slid into him and the original damaged vehicles. Medical care was provided but Mr. Ross passed away at the scene. His body was transported to the Utah State Medical Examiner’s Office in Salt Lake City Utah by Mosdell Mortuary.
