Kane County is proud to announce the launch of the Kane County Small Business Grant Program, an exciting new initiative designed to support small local businesses through matching grant funding. The program offers 1-to-1 matching funds of up to $20,000 per application to assist businesses in expansion, retention, and improvement projects enhancing economic vitality throughout the county.

Eligible businesses located within Kane County are encouraged to apply for funding to support projects such as facility improvements, business upgrades, operational enhancements, and other initiatives helping to grow and strengthen their presence in the community.
“Our small businesses are the backbone of Kane County’s economy,” said Kelly Stowell, Board Chair of the Kane County Economic Opportunity Board. “This grant program is a way of investing in their future, encouraging innovation, and helping local businesses thrive.”
The Kane County Small Business Grant Program is intended to support sustainable growth and provide meaningful support for entrepreneurs and small business owners. By offering matching funds, the County hopes to encourage private investment while helping to ease the burden of upfront project costs.
Applications will be reviewed, and funding will be awarded based on project merit, community impact, and alignment with the County’s economic development goals.
