Kane County Hospital to acquire local family medicine clinic from Revere Health on April 1

KANAB - Kane County Hospital will acquire the Kanab Family Medicine clinic from Revere Health effective April 1, 2026, bringing the primary care practice fully under hospital ownership.

The clinic, located within the hospital, will continue offering family medicine services to the Kane County community. Hospital officials said patients will continue seeing the same providers at the same location, with no changes to scheduling procedures.

After April 1, all billing and communications related to care at the clinic will come directly from Kane County Hospital rather than Revere Health.

Hospital representatives said the move is intended to improve continuity of care and strengthen coordination between clinic providers and hospital services. By aligning primary care operations under the hospital district, officials said they expect more cohesive service delivery and closer integration of medical records, referrals and follow-up care.

The transition does not involve a change in physical location or a reduction in services. Providers currently practicing at Kanab Family Medicine are expected to remain in place, according to information released about the acquisition.

Revere Health, a Utah-based physician group, has operated the clinic in partnership with the hospital in recent years. The acquisition shifts ownership and administrative oversight to the local hospital district.

Across rural Utah and the West, small hospitals have increasingly moved to align outpatient clinics more closely with hospital operations. Healthcare leaders say tighter integration can streamline administrative processes, support provider recruitment and retention and improve coordination for patients who receive both clinic and hospital care.

Kane County Hospital officials emphasized that for patients, the transition is primarily administrative. The clinic will continue operating as usual, with care delivered by the same medical team in the same setting. Additional details about the transition are expected to be shared with patients ahead of the April 1 effective date.
