Kane County Hospital supports local robotics team

KANE COUNTY — Kane County Hospi­tal is proud to support the Paleo Pangolins FIRST LEGO League robotics team with a $1,500 donation to help fund their upcoming trip to the Internation­al Open Championship in Jalisco, Mexico.

The team has made history this season, placing third out of 187 teams statewide and earning selection as one of six State Champions advanc­ing to international competition. Their ac­complishment reflects hard work, creativity and dedication and is a proud moment for the Kane County com­munity.


Hospital CEO Kurt Loveless and Outreach Specialist Brittney Johnson recently had the opportunity to see the team’s robot in ac­tion, highlighting the innovation and team­work behind their suc­cess. “We were incred­ibly impressed with what these students have accomplished,” said Loveless. “It’s exciting to see young people in our com­munity achieving at such a high level, and we’re proud to support them.”
