Kane County Hospital and local grocery stores team up for summer Care & Share donation drive

KANE COUNTY — Kane County Hospital is proud to once again partner with our local grocery stores for the second annual summer Care & Share Round-Up Donation Drive, taking place July 5 - 18.

During these two weeks, shoppers can make a meaningful difference by simply telling their cashier they would like to round up their purchase or donate a specific dollar amount while checking out at participating Kane County grocery stores. Every dollar donated stays local and helps support the Care & Share Food Pantry, providing food assistance to individuals and families throughout our community.

Earlier this spring, our first donation drive demonstrated what can happen when a community comes together to help one another. Because of the generosity of local residents, businesses and our grocery store partners, thousands of dollars were raised to support Care & Share. As food insecurity continues to impact many families, Kane County Hospital is committed to partnering with our local businesses to provide consistent support through these community donation drives twice each year - in April and July.

At Kane County Hospital, we believe caring for our community extends beyond the walls of our hospital. Access to nutritious food plays an important role in overall health, and supporting Care & Share is one way we can help strengthen the well-being of our friends, neighbors and families.
