Kane County 4-H proudly introduces this year’s Teen Council Leadership Team. Teen Council is youth development in action, an opportunity for young people to step forward, accept real responsibilities, and uncover their strengths, all while gaining the confidence, skills, and experiences that prepare them for success beyond high school.
Teen Council members play an active role in planning and leading programs such as after-school STEM classes, summer camps, healthy living workshops, service-learning projects, and community events. Through these opportunities, they make a direct impact on Kane County while also building friendships and mentoring their peers.
Beyond their community service, Teen Council members are developing critical life skills. They receive training in leadership, college and career readiness, public speaking, and professional development. These experiences help them grow their personal portfolios and set the stage for lifelong success.
The 4-H Teen Council is more than a leadership group; it is a launchpad for future leaders who are making a difference today. We are incredibly proud of our youth and their dedication to becoming “beyond ready” for whatever the future holds.
