Kanab students excel at Mathcounts

Kanab Middle and Kanab Elementary Schools would like to congratulate our Mathcounts students for an excellent season. Three of our local students scored in the top 10 of the South Central Chapter, which includes students from Cedar, Richfield, Valley, South Sevier and Beaver.

Ryan Downward took first place in the chapter contest and the chapter invitational. Nick Berrie placed sixth in both competitions. Ryan Downward was invited to compete in the State competition and represented Kanab well.

Luke Shakespeare from Kanab Elementary was first place in his school and placed 10th in the chapter competition.

KMS and KES are very proud of all our Kanab mathletes.
