Over 200 folks crossed the finish line on the Sherry Bell Trail at Jackson Flat Reservoir Thanksgiving morning during Kanab’s annual 5K Turkey Trot!
The race is run as a fundraiser for the KHS cross country team and a wide array of prizes were awarded courtesy of the Kane County Water Conservancy District.
This year’s winner was Kanab High School standout runner, Levi Clarkson, who crossed the finish line in 17:23.5, just ahead of his ex-teammate and now Snow College runner, Austin Church.
With beautiful weather and runners from over 13 different states, this year’s “trot” was a great time for family and friends.
The KHS cross country team would like to thank the Kane County Water Conservancy District and the Kanab City Recreation department for their support!
