Glendale welcomes new mayor and town council members

Glendale Town officials and community members gathered at noon on January 5, 2026, for the swearing-in of newly elected leaders during a formal ceremony held in town.

Jeremy Chamberlain was sworn in as mayor alongside two new town council members, Raleigh Franklin and Marshall Cox. With their right hands raised, each official solemnly swore to support, defend and obey the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Utah, and to discharge with fidelity the duties of their respective offices.
Following the oath, Mayor Chamberlain addressed those in attendance, expressing appreciation for the trust placed in the new leadership. He shared his commitment to unity and emphasized his desire to involve and represent all valued citizens of Glendale as the town moves forward.
The ceremony marked the beginning of a new chapter in Glendale’s local government, setting a tone of service, cooperation and dedication to the community.
