Loving and supportive relationships are a key to lifelong health, and developing these relationships takes effort, and in some instances insights, perspective, and professional support!

Unfortunately, we know that not all relationships are inherently or historically loving and supportive - but individuals can learn and practice valuing their worth and wellbeing, setting and communicating healthy boundaries with others, and seeking help when they are experiencing “red flag” or “yellow flag” moments. Throughout February members of “Teens Make Health Happen” reflected on their relationships with themselves and others and learned how to identify and act on opportunities for strengthening key components of a healthy relationship.

This month the TMHH Club members at Fredonia-Moccasin were able to start their new club by starting off with orientation 1 & 2 where they learned what they would be doing and learning about in the club. We were able to touch on Healthy Relationships which isn’t just with loved ones but includes the relationship with ourselves, friends, adults and peers.
Throughout the month of March our TMHH students are learning all about nutrition fundamentals so they can make informed decisions that support their nutrient needs. We can’t wait to see what Health Promoting Event they’ll create for nutrition month!
