The Fredonia High School softball team is currently second in region and 12th in state. They split with Ash Fork on Friday and won both against St. Michael’s on Sat- urday. They have been working hard at the end of season to prove their worth. Just like the boys, the girls are showing off in the stats. In 1A North softball, Fredonia has five girls in the top 10 for batting averages. Gracie Castor is number two at a .630, Emmie Tait is number five with a .579, Lexie Heaton is number six with a .576, Danni Waters is number eight at .561 and Charlie Anderson at number nine with a .556.
