Fredonia football “changes things up”

The Fredonia football team traveled to Beaver Dam on Friday to face the Diamondbacks. The Lynx started with a strong first half-even with a couple fumbles- and were only down six points at half time. During the third quarter, the Lynx took the lead 22-20, but it was short lived. Beaver Dam answered back and continued to stand strong in the second half.

Coach Brandon Tait said, “With Woods and Cutchen out with injuries this week we had to change things up. This had our less experienced players having to switch up positions. This is one of the struggles we face with such a small team. Overall I’m proud of these kids ability to adapt to the changes and do their best. Unfortunately, we couldn’t overcome the offensive turn overs, and didn’t take home a win this week.”

The Lynx fell 52-30 to the Beaver Dam Diamondbacks. The players worked hard and had some great successes within the game.

Isaac Sample rushed 10 yards, passed for 56 yards, had four defensive tackles and two quarterback sacks.
