Fatality at House Rock Valley Road turn off
One person was killed in a vehicle accident at the House Rock Valley Road curve heading eastbound from Kanab to Page on April 8, 2021. The driver lost control around the sharp bend, and went into the opposite lane, according to Utah Highway Patrol. It was hit broadside by a Ford F-350 pickup truck. The driver of the Honda was killed and UHP identified him as 30-year old Joshua Ashley of Page, Arizona. The driver and passenger of the truck were treated and released with minor injuries.
