On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, a jury found Brigham Darger guilty of six counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, one count forcible sexual abuse and two counts lewdness involving a child.
Due to the delicate and incendiary nature of the case, sources within the county report orders of discretion in the case’s early stages, to avoid prejudice and to facilitate the selection of an unbiased jury.
Further details will be available as court officials process and formally record the case’s proceedings; readers can expect a follow-up report from the Southern Utah News in a forthcoming issue. Matters of public record will be available on Utah’s Xchange court record database site.
