Community shows up for Kane County Assistance Program fundraiser at Buckskin Tavern

FREDONIA, Ariz. – The Buckskin Tavern was filled with music, laughter, dancing and plenty of community spirit on Friday, August 14, as locals came together for a fundraiser benefiting the Kane County Assistance Program (KCAP).

It was a great night from beginning to end, with a packed room of friends and neighbors visiting, bidding on silent auction items, enjoying live music from the Deseret Desperados and hitting the dance floor. Most importantly, the evening brought the community together in support of a program that helps local residents when they need it most.

KCAP provides emergency assistance to individuals and families throughout Kane County and Fredonia who find themselves facing unexpected hardships. Whether someone is struggling with a utility bill, food needs, medical expenses or another emergency situation, KCAP works to provide a helping hand and connect neighbors with needed resources.

The success of Friday night’s fundraiser was truly a community effort!

KCAP would especially like to thank The Buckskin Tavern for generously hosting the fundraiser and helping create such a fun and welcoming evening, as well as the Deseret Desperados for providing live music and keeping the crowd entertained throughout the night.

For KCAP, events like this are about more than raising funds. They are a reminder of what can happen when a community takes care of its own. The money raised will help KCAP continue assisting Kane County neighbors facing emergencies and unexpected circumstances, turning one fun night together into meaningful help for people right here at home.
