Canyons Calling Summer Concert Series 2025: music, community and creativity in Kanab

The Kane County Center for the Arts (KCCA) is thrilled to announce the return of the Canyons Calling Summer Concert Series 2025, set to take place at the picturesque Jacob Hamblin Park. Each free show will be held on the first Saturday of the month, with music starting at 7 p.m. With playgrounds for young ones, food trucks for the hungry, a beer gar- den for the thirsty and fun for all, this year’s series promises an unforgettable experience. It features world-class performances from nationally touring artists alongside a renewed focus on community engagement and fundraising for the future of the arts in Kane County.

The 2025 lineup includes:

• May 3 - Rabbi Blue: A soulful musician blending blues, gospel and jazz, Rabbi Blue’s performances celebrate resilience, community and the power of music. With decades of experience, including as bandleader for Lou Rawls, his music connects deeply with audiences.

• June 7 - Marti Marti: A nomadic singersongwriter from West Virginia who travels the country in her camper van, Marti’s upbeat melodies and positive lyrics reflect her passion and dedication to music.

• July 5 - The Band Feel: A St. Louis based rock band that combines classic influences with a modern twist, delivering highenergy performances inspired by 70s rock and mid-century jazz.

• August 2 - Hannah Juanita: Known for her classic, old-school country sound, Hannah’s heartfelt songs and powerful vocals have made her a standout in Nashville’s traditional country scene playing alongside the likes of Nick Shoulder, Emily Nenni and Kaitlin Butts.

• September 6 - Theoretical Blonde: A Salt Lake City band blending bluegrass, jazz, Americana and more, their dynamic sound expands traditional bluegrass with keys and electric bass for a fresh, energetic mix.

This year’s series also serves as a platform to support KCCA’s efforts to develop a future Arts Campus in Kanab. The campus will feature studios, classrooms and performance spaces to foster creativity and cultural enrichment. A portion of the proceeds will benefit partnered area nonprofits, further strengthening the community. Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to this transformative initiative during the events.
