Opening Day of Valley’s 2025 season yielded an 8-0 shutout thanks to the well seasoned arm of senior hurler Hogan Harris. It took only two innings to set up a commanding 7-0 pace from which Bryce Valley failed to come back.

Following the game, Harris offered a succinct account of the action. “It was good to have a good defense behind you! It felt like I was very confident. We had a lot of good hits. We had great hitting, base-running, all the good stuff! Had a great lead straight out of the gate, and after that it was just fun.”
Head Coach Bret Lamb, in his inaugural Valley campaign, spoke glowingly of his ace: “Hogan threw really well. He’s our starter; he’s our go-to guy! He threw consistent, and that’s what we had to have.” And of the team’s future fortunes, “We’re really excited to get going!”
