American Legion invites locals to participate in flag ceremony honoring veterans’ graves

On Friday, May 23 at 4 p.m., the American Legion will be holding a ceremony honoring veterans at the Kanab Cemetery.

The Legion will be bringing flags to place on veterans’ graves, and are inviting members of the public to volunteer to assist in the ceremony. Attendees will be invited to take flags to marked graves - all who attend are welcome to participate.

Per American Legion representatives, other similar events will be held in the near future, with dates and times posted in public spaces and in the Southern Utah News.
