Academic All-State honors for Kane County student athletes

Each year the Utah High School Activities Association recognizes students for high academic achievement in each sport. The selection is made based on grade point average and ACT test scores. Senior student athletes in each sport are selected in their state classification.

Three Kanab High students and four Valley High received Academic All-State Honors. From KHS, Jessie Reidhead – Girls Cross Country, Collin Szymanski and Saxton Unsworth – Football; from VHS, Zachary Burrows, Layton Spencer and Kyler Franklin – Baseball and Gentry Saul – Volleyball.
