Women’s Business Center of Utah open house

The Women’s Business Center of Utah (WBCUtah) is pleased to announce they will be holding an open house for women business owners in Kane County. The purpose of this event is to hold conversations about local needs and how WBCUtah can help find solutions. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 12, 2 – 4 p.m., at the Brown Box Bakeshop, 42 E. Center St., Kanab. Plan to attend and enjoy free Brown Box treats.

“We’re very pleased that WBCUtah will be here in Kanab talking to local women business owners” said Pat Guerrero, Kanab Area Chamber of Commerce president. “These types of events strengthen the local business community and the Chamber is happy to be a WBCUtah partner. We encourage all local women business owners to come out – you don’t have to be a Chamber member. This will be an opportunity for positive interactions with WBCUtah and networking with other women business owners.”

The mission of Women’s Business Center of Utah is to help Utah women build confidence, create opportunities, and experience success in business ownership. Women’s Business Center of Utah was established in November 1997 as a partnership between the Salt Lake Chamber and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Their team is employed by the Salt Lake Chamber but focused on a separate and complimentary mission; to assist women business owners statewide. WBCUtah is federally funded, so your tax dollars are coming back around to help you, your sister, friend and daughter.
