Wild Thyme Cafés among top restaurants in southern Utah

Wild Thyme Café is celebrating a flavorful victory this summer after earning four Sil­ver medals in the 2025 Best of Southern Utah competition. Both lo­cations - Wild Thyme Café in Kanab and Wild Thyme Café at Trees Ranch in Spring­dale - were recog­nized across multiple categories, including Best All-Around Res­taurant, Outdoor Din­ing, Healthy Eats and View.

The results, an­nounced earlier this month, place Wild Thyme Café as the #2 restaurant overall in Southern Utah - an exciting milestone for the locally loved, family-run establish­ments.


Wild Thyme Café in Kanab has been serv­ing the community for nearly eight years, known for its season­ally inspired menu, farm-to-table ingredi­ents, and cozy outdoor patio.The Springdale location, set against the dramatic red rock backdrop of Trees Ranch near Zion Na­tional Park, just cel­ebrated its one-year anniversary and is already made a name for itself with its scenic dining and elevated culinary experience.


“This recognition means so much be­cause it comes from the community we love feeding,” said Ashley Heaton, GM and co-owner of both Wild Thyme locations. “We’ve poured our hearts into building places that feel warm, real, and rooted in the land. To be seen as one of the best is deeply rewarding.”

The Best of South­ern Utah competition is held annually and invites the public to nominate and vote for standout businesses across the region. For Wild Thyme, the hon­ors reflect the passion of their team, the qual­ity of their ingredients, and their commitment to sustainable, mind­ful food.


Guests can expect rotating seasonal spe­cials, a thoughtful beverage list, and in­gredients grown right behind the café or sourced from trust­ed local providers. Whether enjoying a handcrafted meal in Kanab or relax­ing under the trees in Springdale, Wild Thyme offers something uniquely southern Utah.
