Two Area Chamber ribbon cuttings, one weekend
Last week was one for ribbon cuttings in Kanab! On June 13, the Chamber of Commerce held its monthly luncheon at the Once Upon a Time in America Museum at 6746 US-89 east of town. With about 50 attendees and food provided by Honey’s Marketplace, a ribbon cutting for this one-of-a-kind destination was held directly afterward, complete with six-shooters!

Once Upon a Time in America Museum owner Jason Grossman cuts the ribbon the old-fashioned way.
On June 15 an enthusiastic crowd gathered for a ribbon cutting at the new Cliffview Baptist Church building at 426 W Powell Drive in Kanab. A project years in the making, the new building is a lovely combination of worship and fellowship space that is sure to serve the congregation well.
Kanab is growing, and the community appears to be here for it!
