On Sunday, March 21, three-year-old Thomas Clarkson from Kanab, Utah, was killed when the 4 x 4 vehicle he was riding in rolled over while climbing a steep trail in the Hog Canyon trail area of Kane County, just north of Kanab.
His parents, Kieren and Anson Clarkson, and four siblings, who were also in the vehicle at the time, received only minor injuries. They were treated at the scene and released.
Thanks to Kane County Sheriff’s Office, Kane County EMTs, Kanab Fire Department and Classic Air Medical for their quick response and working under stressful circumstances. We wish to express our condolences to the Clarkson family.
