It was a good day for the annual event, before a storm front brought wind later in the day. This year was the sixteenth year that cars from all over are displayed in town. Walking up and down the rows of vehicles, some close to 100 years old. Others were only a handful of years old. Spectators admired the time and effort many owners have made in restoring and maintaining one of their prized possession. One of the more unusual entries was a 1998 Fire Truck from Japan. The owner bought it from an ad online with very low miles. Based on a Toyota Hilux chassis, the truck had been used in a small town in Japan until it was sold. The owner said the most difficult thing was to remember other than the steering wheel is on the right side is that the five-speed manual transmission shifter, directional signal lever and the windshield wiper switch are reversed from Toyotas sold in most of the world where people drive on the right-hand side of the road.
