Kanab Urgent Care & Family Clinic, located at 329 South 350 East, Unit 4, is currently accepting patients and has scheduled a public grand opening for Oct. 14. The facility is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The clinic is owned and operated by Jill and Brady Blasdell along with Gentry and Mitchell Glazier. Jill is a licensed nurse practitioner, and Gentry is a registered nurse. The clinic offers both preventive and urgent care services, including treatment for sprains, fractures, urinary tract infections, gastrointestinal illnesses and heat-related conditions. Same-day appointments, lab services and EKG testing are available. X-ray services are expected to be added soon.

Insurance coverage includes Aetna, Cigna, DMBA, Medicare, SelectHealth, UnitedHealthcare, University of Utah Health and Medicaid plans such as Healthy U and SelectHealth Community Care. Additional contracts with Molina, Health Choice Utah, PEHP, Regence, Humana and TriCare/ChampVA are in progress, according to clinic operators.

The new facility marks the first independent urgent care option in Kanab, where residents previously relied primarily on Kane County Hospital for both emergency and outpatient care. To learn more about the clinic’s services visit kanabhealthcare.com
