The Lady Lynx came out with a strong force and they swept the Music Mountain Warriors right off their home court! The JV team started the team off right with a win of 76-10. It is no question that the lower classes of girls playing JV are at a higher level of play, just as the Varsity.

The JV team has some high scorers and some girls making great plays! Freshman Danni Waters and Gracie Castor both put up 14 points, followed closely by Freshman Finlea Lathim with 12. It’s plain to see that the Freshman girls are a force to be reckoned with this year!

Varsity followed after and continued with their energy and drive, sweeping the court with a win of 59-17. The Varsity girls did well last year in their season and it would not come as a surprise to see the Lady Lynx teams do well in their region this year. Senior Danailee Tait led the team with 12 points, followed by Waters and Senior Charlie Anderson with 10 points each.

The girls have a busy week facing Wayne on Tuesday, November 28, and spending the weekend down in Williams, Ariz. playing in the annual Williams Route 66 Holiday Classic Tournament. Good luck Lady Lynx!
