KHS students create real-world projects with hands-on experiences

KHS students have been working on a tiny house project to be sold next year.

In the KHS Woods/Auto/ Welding shops, it seems like the school year just started and here we are with only a month left in the school year. We offer carpentry, woodworking, agriculture systems, welding and auto. We have had a productive year in the CTE classes. We have continued work on the tiny house project and it is looking great! It should be up for sale next year.

Each of the classes engage students with hands-on learning with an emphasis on real-world job skills. The KHS Future Farmers of America program continues to thrive, as we have been involved with a variety of competitions and activities all year.

Next week, we will be going to Utah State University to compete in the FFA state judging competition. It is always the highlight of our year. Good luck to those competing and great job to all of our Career and Technical Education students.

Kanab FFA students will compete at Utah State University next week.
