Parent Guidance welcomes Kane County School District as the newest district in Utah to offer free therapist-led mental health resources for parents and guardians through the ParentGuidance. org program.
“ParentGuidance.org offers a collection of courses about mental health challenges today’s children are facing. Each course is designed and delivered by licensed therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to help parents with their children,” said Anne Brown, president, and CEO of the Cook Center for Human Connections. “Our goal is to have ParentGuidance. org available to every school website in the country so that parents know where to fi nd the information when they need it.”
By signing up with Parentguidance.org, Kane County School District educators and counselors can provide families with free access to a range of educational and counseling resources available in the privacy of their own home, on their own schedule and on topics they and their child most need.
The ParentGuidance. org library offers hundreds of free therapist-led courses on topics including:
• Bullying
• Anger
• Suicide prevention
• LGBTQ+
• Depression
• Communication
