Kane County’s long history with Rodeo has achieved a landmark on July 26 and 27: our first ever Professional Rodeo Cowboys’ Association (PRCA) sanctioned event. The PRCA is the largest rodeo association in the world, and last weekend’s event allowed participants to qualify and even receive reward payouts from the association and its sponsors.
Not to say this is the first time local pro-rodeo competitors have been recognized; the more local Rocky Mountain Pro Rodeo Association has consistent events in Kanab, and its finals are soon to be hosted in Kanab in October Check visitsouthernutah.com for details.
