Kane County Hospital appreciates local teachers

As students and teachers returned to the classroom for another school year, Kane County Hospital wanted to take a moment to recognize the educators who dedicate so much time, energy and care to the children and families of our community.

This year, Kane County Hospital assembled and delivered back-to-school welcome kits for teachers throughout the local school district and surrounding areas. Each tote bag was filled with useful classroom supplies, including two-ply tissues, Post-it notes, Expo markers and hand sanitizer.

The project was a simple way for the hospital to say thank you to the teachers who make a difference in the lives of local students every day.

“Teachers have such an important role in the health and strength of our community,” said Brittney Johnson, Operations Director at Kane County Hospital. “They spend countless hours supporting, encouraging and caring for our kids. We wanted them to start the school year knowing that their hard work is noticed and appreciated. These kits were just a small way for Kane County Hospital to say thank you and let our educators know that we are cheering them on.”

Kane County Hospital recognizes that supporting a healthy community extends beyond the walls of the hospital. Strong schools, dedicated educators and healthy families all play an important role in creating a thriving community.

The hospital is grateful for the opportunity to partner with and support local schools and looks forward to continuing efforts that strengthen connections throughout the communities it serves.
