McKadie Cox (age seven) along with her brother DJ (age five) herd a sacrificial hog during the annual Jeff Wood Memorial Scholarship Fund auction commemorating their uncle, who tragically passed away unexpectedly from a sudden hard hit baseball to the chest while pitching on the mound at Valley High School years ago. Assembled behind them are the recipients of $1,000 each from the six generously shouted “sell it again!” rounds compounding toward the ultimate tally. “Jesus With Lamb” is the Judge’s Choice Winner in the Senior Fine Arts division with this Oil Painting category, Portrait class entry. Rain Stotlar, the spiritually ardent artist, is a recent Kanab High School graduate currently serving on her LDS Mission in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
