Kanab City Library featuring youth artists

From now until February 25, the artworks of Jennifer Andrews and her young artists are on display at the Kanab City Library. Also virtual interviews with Ms. Andrews and her students, captured by Mark Kuehnel, may be viewed by going to kanabarts.org and clicking the link: https://vimeo.com/503713469.

On February 27, a new art show will feature the 17 year-old Kanab High School Art Sterling Scholar candidate, William Douglass, and a variety of Kanab High School students, all taught by artist/teacher Joshua Baird.

In May (dates to be determined) artist/teacher Nichole Houston will be presenting her Kanab Middle School students’ work at the library.

The Kanab Arts Board (currently Dave Owens Chairman, and board members Katherine Van Hagan, Ellie May Clough, Eileen Gilbert Bell and Linda McCowan) and the Kanab City Library (Jenny Chatwin and her awesome staff) welcome you to come and enjoy the wonderful talents of our local artists.

Please note: if you are an artist, and local resident, who would like to have your works temporarily on display at the Kanab City Library in the future and/or would like to serve on the Kanab Arts Board, please e-mail kanabarts@gmail.com with the subject heading: “Expression of Interest.”

Thank You!
