On January 11, 2022, Kane County Sheriff’s Deputies along with the Big Water Marshal’s Office executed a search warrant on a property in Big Water, Utah. The officers located over 320 grams of methamphetamine, a large sum of cash,
guns, distribution equipment and smaller amounts of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The street value of the meth
alone is approximately $30,000.
Two individuals were arrested in connection with the search. Fifty-nine-year-old Ted Lenard Salsman, Big Water, and
40-year-old Amelia Melissa Clark were booked into the Kane County jail.
Salsman’s charges include two felonies for possession with intent to distribute and possession of a weapon by a restricted person. His charges also included several misdemeanor drug and paraphernalia charges. He is being held without bail awaiting legal proceedings.
Clark’s charges were misdemeanor drug and paraphernalia charges along with providing false information and an animal cruelty charge. She is currently being held in the Kane County Jail.
