Death of Church Wellsman under investigation

Matthew Wayne Young, 49, Church Wells, was found dead on his property on April 13. This case is currently under investigation.

Kane County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the death of Matthew Wayne Young, 49, of Church Wells, Utah. Sheriff’s deputies and detectives responded to the property of Young after EMT’s from the Big Water Fire Department had been dispatched and were unable to revive him. This is a complex case and has already required many hours of investigation and evidence collection. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
